So many great memories at each resort I’ve been to, to pick only one favourite is almost unfair! Val D’Isère and Tignes are my top choices for the quality of the runs, the massive terrain, the amazing views and the towns. A ski area that has a run for every type of skier is always a winner for me!

I continue to visit more European ski destinations every winter to bring back all the best tricks and tips to Skican so that our customers can have the ski trip! Next for this winter is Innsbruck and Kitzbuhel in Austria.

How Do You Like To Chill Out/ How Do You Spend Your Spare Time Outside Of Skican?
I spend most of my time on my mountain bike and hiking in the summer and ski touring during the winter months. Exploring my British Columbia backyard is my favourite kind of fun!

Aspen Snowmass. There’s so much flexibility ski wise from the 4 different mountains you have access to. The food and night life scene is unparalleled. Highlands is my favorite mountain due to the vertical, skiable terrain and the sweet pow stashes!

Leading an amazing Ski Escapes to Banff/Jasper in 2023! The resort atop my bucket list is Vail.

How Do You Like To Chill Out/ How Do You Spend Your Spare Time Outside Of Skican?
Watch and attend sport or music events. Love to discuss the Raptors/Jays and Bills! Really enjoy my Sunday baseball league, too.

Role at Skican:
I work on the backend, loading contracts, creating travel documents, and trouble shooting any system problems for the FIT team. My goal is to support and make the FIT sales team’s jobs run as smooth as possible.

Favourite Ski Or Mountain Destination:
So far, my favourite resort I have skied Red Mountain. It’s a blast from the past with some of the best terrain you can ski inbounds!

Where To Next And/Or What's On Your Bucket List?
I would love to check out some of the smaller, locally owned resorts we have right here in BC. Like Shames, Mount Cain, and Troll, to name a few.

How Do You Like To Chill Out/ How Do You Spend Your Spare Time Outside Of Skican?
Spring, Summer, and Fall are all about mountain biking for me. Living in Kamloops BC, I have access to world renowned trails and terrain right out the door.

J’ai eu le plaisir de skier dans de nombreuses stations incroyables à travers l’Amérique du Nord, donc c’est difficile d’en choisir une!  La journée épique de la poudreuse pendant Pâques à Whistler est l’une de mes journées préférées!

Où aller ensuite et/ou qu’est-ce qu’il y a sur votre liste de choses à faire avant de mourir?
Ma liste de choses à faire est de skier en Europe et de découvrir la culture, les villes, le super ski et, bien sûr, la nourriture et l’après-après incroyables!

Comment aimez-vous vous détendre / Comment passez-vous votre temps libre en dehors du skican?
J’adore passer mon temps dehors avec ma famille et mon chien LOLA!  Que nous fassions de la randonnée, du vélo ou de la raquette sur les sentiers autour de chez moi. 

Rôle chez Skican :
Mon objectif est que votre groupe vive un voyage de premier ordre et bien organisé. Je travaille en étroite collaboration avec Adam pour organiser des groupes de 25+ afin de m’assurer qu’ils organisent des voyages qui ne déçoivent pas.

Destination de ski ou de montagne préférée :
Je suis nouveau dans le ski depuis quelques années, donc j’ai encore plein de destinations sur ma liste de choses à faire.

Où aller ensuite et/ou qu’est-ce qu’il y a sur votre liste de choses à faire avant de mourir?
J’ai hâte de visiter le Québec cet hiver. Je prévois des voyages au Massif et au Mont Sainte-Anne avec ma jeune famille.

Comment aimez-vous vous détendre / Comment passez-vous votre temps libre en dehors du skican?
Hors saison, je suis un cycliste sur route passionné, principalement dans la région de l’escarpement du sud-ouest de l’Ontario; J’aime les côtes en hiver comme en été!

I love helping travelers discover ski destinations that truly speak to them — where every turn on the mountain and every moment off it becomes unforgettable. There’s nothing better than helping someone feel on top of the world… literally!

Favourite Ski Or Mountain Destination:
Switzerland — especially Wengen and Jungfrau. The views are surreal, the alpine magic is unmatched, and don’t even get me started on mountaintop raclette! And best of all, you're not freezing like back home in Quebec.

Japan is at the top of my list — I’m excited to experience the legendary JAPOW, incredible food, and rich culture.

How Do You Like To Chill Out/ How Do You Spend Your Spare Time Outside Of Skican?
I love being outdoors — hiking, horseback riding, traveling — and balancing it out with yoga to recharge. Quality time with friends and family is also a priority for me.

Role at Skican:
I develop relationships and plan trips for my clients to the best ski destinations while providing outstanding customer service and expertise on the destination. My goal on my trips to is help clients create lifelong memories both off and on the mountain.

Favourite Ski Or Mountain Destination:
Been so lucky to visit lots of resorts (still plenty to go!) but Fernie on a powder day is pretty hard to beat.

Where To Next And/Or What's On Your Bucket List?
Will be heading to Japan this year, and I couldn’t be more excited to experience the culture, the food, and of course, the snow!

How Do You Like To Chill Out/ How Do You Spend Your Spare Time Outside Of Skican?
In the warmer months you’ll find me running the trails at home in Hamilton with my two dogs, at the skatepark, or camping!

As someone who loves to ski and travel, I love to create unforgettable ski experiences for my guests, while taking the stress out of trip planning. I handle the details so that guests can just show up and enjoy the magic of the mountains. There's nothing like the pure joy that skiing brings, and I love helping people experience that. 

Favourite Ski Or Mountain Destination:
Silver Star will always be home. Whistler is one of my all-time favourites after an epic 4 seasons of skiing there while studying at UBC. But my new favourite destination is Fernie, it is so underrated — no lines, great snow, epic terrain, and such a classic Canadian ski town 🍁

Where To Next And/Or What's On Your Bucket List?
I hope to make it out to Sunshine Village and Sun Peaks next winter for the first time! Austria, France and Japan are at the top of my bucket list though 🤩⛷️

In my spare time you will usually find me at the gym or just relaxing at home and drinking a tea while reading a good book or bingeing reality tv. Otherwise you will find me cafe hopping around Toronto, at a patio for happy hour, attending a concert, or catching a flight somewhere ✈️☕✨

My favorite ski destination is Whistler, because I used to live there, and I have had some of the most amazing days exploring that beautiful mountain.

Newfoundland’s rugged backcountry along the East Coast Trail always ends with a proper boil-up!

To graduate from the bunny hill, ironic for someone who's backcountry skied in a province where every driveway is a black diamond run. Yet somehow our local ski hill's magic carpet still terrifies me. Maybe it's the lack of a boil up at the bottom?

How Do You Like To Chill Out/ How Do You Spend Your Spare Time Outside Of Skican?
Building random (but useful!) DIY creations, making art, or just soaking up nature, usually with more grace than I show on skis. Bonus points if there's ocean air, a lakeside breeze, or any body of water nearby.

Revelstoke is home, and its terrain and snowfall are hard to beat. That said, Japan’s deep powder and a bowl of ramen after a day skiing is hard to beat.

I would love to explore Georgia and the Caucasus mountains. The high snowfall and rugged mountains are appealing from a ski perspective, and the ability to experience a unique local culture is part of the magic of travelling!

Skiing itself is my biggest pastime, but in the warmer months I spend my time mountain biking, hiking and losing at pickleball.

Oh easy. Best powder day: Whitewater, BC. Most memorable experience with my son, Jasper, AB. Where I was during the COVID lockdown (and will never forget the calm and professionalism the resort showed to its guests): Sun Peaks, BC. Best resort hosts: Sun Peaks, BC (think Nancy Greene). Most pushing-the-limits-of-my-comfort-zone mountain experience: backcountry skiing at Whistler. Fav overall summer & winter destination: Silver Star, BC. Best location to kick off your season: Ski With the Pros, Panorama, BC. Best tree skiing: Steamboat, CO. Most memorable experience with my late father (Founder of Skican): Fernie, BC. Best resort to support growth in the ski industry: Chicopee, Ontario (making skiing & snowboarding diverse & accessible). Best southern hemisphere ski experience: Valle Nevado, Chile. Most breathtaking scenery: Zermatt, Switzerland. Best meal: Whitefish, Montana. Best après experience: Snowmass, CO. Best family ski memory: Red Mountain, BC. I’ve barely gotten started…the list goes on and on.

Next winter I’m looking forward to experiencing the Dolomites (Italy) in January, and hoping to visit/revisit Schweitzer, ID, Telluride, CO, Revelstoke, BC. On my bucket list: Alaska, Japan, Norway.

How Do You Like To Chill Out/ How Do You Spend Your Spare Time Outside Of Skican?
Movement is super important to me, so I am often working out at the gym or going to a Pilates class. Being in Montreal, I have access to a great music and arts scene, so I spend lots of time with friends taking it all in.

Role at Skican:
As Director of Operations, I am responsible for overseeing the infrastructure and operations functions at Skican, with the aim to ensure that both our sales team and customers undergo a seamless booking experience.

Favourite Ski Or Mountain Destination:
I live in Pemberton, BC, so I’d have to say my home mountain of Whistler Blackcomb and favorite runs would be any laps on Whistler’s Peak Chair.

Where To Next And/Or What's On Your Bucket List?
I am looking forward to skiing at Kicking Horse this winter and my bucket list ski destination is anywhere in Japan or Europe!

While I love the outdoor pursuits of skiing and biking, you will most often find me with a book in hand during any spare few minutes that I can grab during the day.


Ski Escapes That I Will Be Hosting:

Sun Peaks Ski Escape
Sun Peaks ticks all the boxes as a destination for a top-notch ski holiday. We are excited about the new West Bowl High Speed Quad chairlift that is opening on the mountain this winter, which is said to open up more West-Bowl trails and off-piste terrain. I look forward to riding this new lift and exploring all that Sun Peaks has to offer with guests on this Ski Escape.

Red & Whitewater Ski Escape
Another Skican favourite Ski Escape destination, the Red & Whitewater trip is back, and the snow forecast is looking strong for these Powder Highway destinations!  I look forward to enjoying powder laps with guests on this Ski Escape.

Banff & Lake Louise Ski Escape
I have been lucky enough to visit the Banff area several times in the last few years. The beauty of the Canadian Rockies is breathtaking. This trip combines the stunning Canadian Rockies scenery, 3 ski areas to explore, all while staying at the iconic Banff and Lake Louise Fairmont properties. I look forward to continuing to explore all that Banff and Lake Louise has to offer with guests on this Ski Escape.
